Ethiopian referee to handle Cameroon AFCON 2016 opener 0
Ethiopian referee Lidya Tafesse has be given the responsibility to handle the opening match of the Africa Women Cup of Nations Cameroon 2016.
The match to be played at 3:30pm Central African Time on 19th November 2016 at the Ahmadou Ahidjo Stadium Yaounde will pit host Cameroon against Egypt.
Born on 30th April, 1980, 36-year old Lidya Tafesse has been an international referee since 2005. She has once played basketball and is a football lover.
She will be assisted by Malagasy Lidwine Pelagie Rakotozafinoro and Bernadettar Asimenye Kwimbira of Malawi. Burundian Suavis Iratunga will serve as fourth official of the game.
