Dozens of Anglophones arrested in Yaounde 5
Cameroon Concord News has learnt that the Francophone dominated secret service has arrested many Southern Cameroonians and taken them to an unknown destination. Some of the West Cameroonians were returning from the South West and North West regions but were intercepted at the outskirts of Yaounde, the nation’s capital.
We gathered that a younger brother to the late veteran sports journalist, Ben Njovens is among the hundreds arrested. We also got intelligence that Anglophone citizens are stopped and mobile device searched and those bearing messages from the Cameroon Anglophone Civil Society Consortium are immediately arrested.
