Cameroon Concord News has learnt that the army has opened fired into a crowd of peaceful protesters in Kumbo, in Bui Division. The crowd refused to disperse after an anti-La Republique demonstration was held.
The demonstrators took to the streets in several important places including on college campuses across Kumbo condemning the killing of their son by troops loyal to the Yaounde regime in Bameda.
A huge crowd of protesters assembled downtown early this morning chanting pro secessionist slogans. Troops have blocked the entrances and exit from Kumbo. The protest has been mostly peaceful.
