“UN, UK, France not taking bold steps toward peace in Southern Cameroons” 0

The United Nations including Britain and France have not taken any bold steps to stop the genocide currently unfolding in Southern Cameroons and to put an end to the Biya Francophone military aggression against innocent Ambazonian civilians, says a traditional ruler who hails from the Akwaya Sub Constituency in the Manyu County, adding that as long as the Yaounde regime enjoys the full support of the UN, the AU and France it will continue its war on the impoverished people of Southern Cameroons.

Speaking to our London Bureau Chief, Chi Prudence Asong, the Akwaya Royal whose identity we are withholding for security reasons observed that “The President Trump administration and some British MPs in the House of Commons have started talking about the killings of our people but what we Southern Cameroonians need now is a referendum to determine our future.”

The chartered member of the so-called Manyu Chiefs Conference further stated that “I don’t think the Cameroun government military campaign in Southern Cameroons will stop or even reduce with President Biya still in power. The abrupt end of the Mimi Mefo case in Douala is an indication that Yaounde is sick and tired of given itself a bad name.”

The Biya regime launched a devastating military campaign against the English speaking people in Southern Cameroons with the aim of crushing the Ambazonian revolution. The Biya war has claimed the lives of around 4000 Ambazonians and some 1500 Cameroon government troops.

Many governments have called on the CPDM regime to hold an inclusive dialogue with the leadership of the Federal Republic of Ambazonia but the 85 year old dictator has refused to comply.
