President Paul Biya secretly sent an emissary to Libreville to congratulate Ali Bongo for his re-election. The Minister of the Economy and Finance, Alamine Ousmane Mey was the Biya acolyte who traveled to Gabon with the message to the Gabonese president.
Cameroon Concord News informant in the Gabonese capital hinted that Minister Alamine Ousmane Mey also met with senior cabinet ministers of the Gabonese administration.
