The management of the Cameroon Radio and Television, CRTV has replaced the 8:30 pm Francophone newscaster, Adèle Mballa Atangana. Mballa Atangana who also moonlights as Director of Information at Crtv-Television desk was told to get some rest yesterday Tuesday the 16^th of May. CRTV insiders say she is presently depressed following a costly mistake she made during the presentation of the Monday May 15^th 8:30 pm news in the French language.

Adèle Mballa Atangana announced the new members of the French government whose names were unveiled, according to her, shortly after the appointment that Monday, of Edouard Philippe to the post of Prime Minister by French President Emmanuel Macron. Some French citizens in Cameroon did inform CRTV that the new French government has not been made public . The French statement indicated that a new government was expected today Wednesday May 17, 2017. CRTV’s editorial board later on discovered that Adele Mballa Atangana was drowned by the many hoaxes circulating since Monday on the web about the first French government of the Macron era.

Adèle Mballa Atangana was replaced by Evelyne Owona Essomba who presented the 8:30 pm news on Tuesday May the 16^th 2017.  CRTV is used to perpetrate crimes against Anglophones far worse than the Lake Nyos Disaster or the numerous deaths recorded on the Tiko-Douala highway. It is an instrument of mass mobilization through falsehood, corruption of the popular conscience and the deification of the 84 year old dictator who has finally destroyed the tribal tolerance miraculously put in place by the late President Ahidjo. CRTV was and is the conduit through which egregious violations and crimes of unimaginable magnitude are perpetrated against Southern Cameroonians.

An African American family has been kicked off a JetBlue flight for carrying a birthday cake that flight crew said posed a “safety risk.” The incident took place at New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport on May 3, when Cameron Burke, his wife and their two children tried to board a Las Vegas-bound flight en route to a birthday party for the mother.

The flight crew gave the Burkes conflicting advice on where to store their birthday cake and ended up forcing them off the plane although they were fully compliant, said the family. A video clip from the incident shows that the Burkes were forced off the plane even after Port Authority officers showed up at the scene and saw “no wrongdoing” on their part.

JetBlue confirmed Sunday that the family was asked to leave the airplane after they insisted on storing the cake in “improper” places and refused to move it. “The customers became agitated, cursed and yelled at the crew, and made false accusations about a crew member’s fitness to fly,” JetBlue spokesman Doug McGraw said.

Apparently, one of the crew first asked the family to move the cake from their overhead bin to another one and then told them to store it under a seat. However, another flight attendant appeared and asked the family to leave.

“I just want to know why,” Cameron’s wife, Minta, is heard shouting on the video. “Exactly!” Cameron replies. “For a cake?” McGraw said that all passengers were deplaned and rebooked as a result. The plane then took off with the family’s luggage.

The Burkes flew to Las Vegas on a United Airlines flight the next day. However, Cameron said he was going to file a lawsuit against JetBlue.

Lejeune Mbella Mbella the Francophone Minister of External Relations and his wife Marguerite have celebrated 40 years of marriage in a ceremony that held on Saturday the 15 of April 2017 at Eboné, located in the Department of Moungo in the Littoral region.  Many highly placed Cameroon government officials were conspicuously absent from the celebrations.

A Biya acolyte who traveled to Ebone worried aloud about the absence of many cabinet colleagues of Minister Mbella. Cameroon Concord News gathered that a majority of those serving in the Biya Francophone regime including the Head of State himself are in their second, third or fourth marriages and as a consequence are not in a strong moral position to be in such symbolic occasion.

The so-called CPDM gentleman, Peter Mafany Musonge rushed for a replacement immediately his wife passed away without any period of mourning or remembrance.  No one knows the exact number of wives that Senator Achidi had during his time as Prime Minister. Amadou Ali has a harem of women. And of course the big man himself has First Lady Chantal Biya as his second.

Lejeune Mbella Mbella was appointed Minister of Foreign Affairs of La Republique du Cameroun since October 2, 2015. He was also Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Cameroon in France with residence in Paris. On 9 July 2007, Lejeune Mbella Mbella was again appointed ambassador to UNESCO, in addition to his duties as ambassador of Cameroon in France, where he replaced Pascal Biloa Tang in October 2006.

His entering into the cabinet crowns a career that started in 1979 at the Embassy of Cameroon in Canada. He is a seasoned diplomat who knows Asia perfectly well as an ambassador for Japan and South Korea from 2002 to 2006. He also knows North America as he has been second and first secretary at the Embassy of Cameroon, in Ottawa, Canada, in the early 1980s. In 1997, he was recalled to Cameroon to take over the leadership of La Francophonie for five years.

With a doctorate in international relations, Lejeune is, deeply, a believer who never misses Sunday services of worship. He was made Knight, then Officer of the Order of Valor and later on Commander of the Order of the Pleiades (Francophonie), and Grand Officer of the Order of Valor.

Fighting erupted during the funeral program of the former Minister of National Education, the late Prof. Joseph Mboui. The war of words and violent exchange of punches between the wife of the deceased and her daughter occurred during the removal of the remains which was scheduled at 10 am this Thursday, March 23, 2017 at the morgue of the General Hospital in Yaoundé but  did not take place.

The bereaved family, friends and other acquaintances of the deceased Joseph Mboui who made the trip, rather lived a spectacularly incredible spectacle. The wife of the deceased who announced the funeral from today Thursday and to run through Saturday, March 25, 2017, met an opposition introduced by her own daughter.

Two camps emerged with one fully behind the girl who scheduled the funeral for next month, exactly on April 22, 2017 and the Mum’s own followers who decided that her husband shall be buried this weekend and not after. Because of this unfortunate setback, a tribute ceremony to the Honorable Joseph Mboui initially scheduled at 12:00 pm on Thursday in the National Assembly was postponed…

Joseph Mboui died in France on Monday, February 27, 2017, following an undisclosed illness at the age of 79. He will eventually be buried in Bamble, his native village about 25 kilometers from Edea in the Sanaga-Maritime Division in the Littoral Region.

A video showing Cameroon’s first lady, Chantal Biya sharing a private time with her close friends probably in one of the apartments of the Unity Palace in Yaoundé have since yesterday Friday, March 10, 2017 rocked the entire nation.

The wife of the President of the Republic Paul Biya appeared in a relaxed mood in the video where she and her interlocutors jiggled and evoked in a funny way the successful hit Miss Lolo by the Ivorian artist Meiway. What appeared as a staging was interrupted after 16 seconds on instruction from Chantal Biya.

Hundredths gathered at the Commercial Avenue in Bamenda, North West region to commemorate the 32nd International Women’s day amidst ghost town that was being observed by the population. The scantily attended event lacked the fanfare that usually accompany it, reports Cameroun Info.Net.

Most of the women who took part in the parade were under the banner of regional delegations including some few associations. However the Governor of the North West region Adolphe LELE L’Afrique said he was satisfied with the turn out especially as messages had been circulated calling for boycott in the two English speaking regions. He congratulated women who showed up saying it was a wonderful move.

Some women who took part in the parade were transported back to their destinations in military trucks. The situation in Buea was not different, turnout was low compared to previous years but like his North  West counterpart, Bernard Okalia Bilai congratulated the women who showed up for the celebration saying that they also have to play a key role in maintaining peace during this period of crisis. He urged women to send their children to school by also convincing their husbands to see the need for educating their children.

President Robert Mugabe, the oldest practicing leader in the world has celebrated his 93rd birthday today Tuesday the 21^st of February 2017 and intends to remain in office until his 99th birthday. Mugabe blew his 93 candles this Tuesday at a ceremony limited to his ministers and closest collaborators.

At 93, the President does not intend to withdraw from power and plans to run for the 2018 presidential election. Interviewed by the pro-government newspaper The Herald on the nationalist policy of the new US President Donald Trump, “America to Americans,” Mugabe said he was in full agreement with the nationalist policy of his American counterpart, Donald Trump. “When it comes to Donald Trump and his nationalist ideas” America to the Americans, “I agree,” he said

The Minister of Sports and Physical Education, Pierre Ismaël Bidoung Kpwatt has had his record beaten in the so-called Bidoung Kpwatt Challenge that came into existence  following the minister’s mark of reverence before President Paul Biya on December 9, 2016.

The Cameroon Radio and Television Corporation, CRTV has come under scathing verbal attacks from French speaking Cameroonians in the Diaspora following what they described as “hate reporting” through the arousing of anti-Anglophone sentiments over the network.

Information from sources in Germany, France and Belgium said instead of advising Cameroonians against the dangers of war, Anglophone and Francophone broadcasters over CRTV are making a mockery of the leadership of the Cameroon Anglophone Civil Society Consortium and their majority following projecting the power of the ruling CPDM crime syndicate as representing the entire French speaking community in Cameroon.

Questioned about the veracity of the accusation of French speaking Cameroonians, most of the diplomats serving at the Cameroon embassies in Western Europe contacted by Cameroon Intelligence Report said as a state radio and television and property of the Cameroon government, President Biya and the ruling political elites can decide what to do with it or what it must say. Progressive Francophone elements in Europe have wondered aloud why such anti Southern Cameroons broadcasts could be allowed at a time efforts were needed to seek for peace in the country.

Repeated broadcast of war messages coming from senior members of the Francophone dominated government such as former Prime Minister Peter Mafany Musonge, Minister Atanga Nji, the resurrected Calvin Nnoko Mbele, Ministers Fame Ndongo and Laurent Esso according to the Francophone community leaders in Europe raised fears that the situation might deteriorate in the near future.
